We enjoyed a wonderful, warm welcome from Terry and Lynne. All the earlier reviews were spot on and the breakfasts were delicious. Staying here really was like staying with family! Recommended!
Fantastic, homely hotel situated just a few minutes walk from the station, but has plenty of off-road car parking. Adults only. Tery is a keen biker for those enthusiastic motorcyclists. Small, well stocked bar, and drinks very reasonably priced compared to many hotels that serve alcohol. Rooms are clean and spacious, all have different decor, and are well heated. Breakfast was brilliant, again much better than the big chain hotels. Terry couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Highly recommended but suggest booking direct as you may get a better rate than on the common booking sites.
A wonderful nights stay. So close to the station, close enough to walk to the town and river. Beautiful gardens, and outdoor seating area. lovely room ...asked for a fan..Terry got me one immediately. Lovely room..with a dressing gown! Breakfast was super! Happy to let me work in the bar the following day. Just great
We're so pleased that we found this little gem. We needed a room suddenly and rang a few places to find they were fully booked. Then we found this hotel. The hosts were very welcoming, the room was comfortable and well equipped and the location is just minutes from the rail station. Thank you so much, it was a real pleasure to stay with you.
